Greensborough Hockey Club uses Thinkific to provide learning opportunities for adults and juniors.
The site records account details, including names and email addresses, course enrolments and learning progress. GHC uses this information to manage course access, respond to enquiries and send account and learning-related messages.
Juniors may use their own account or access courses through a parent or guardian’s account, subject to Thinkific’s account requirements. Where an account is shared, progress belongs to that account and does not reliably identify who completed the learning.
Colin Riordan is the only GHC administrator authorised to view individual learner progress. Thinkific processes information to provide the platform under its own privacy policy.
GHC uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Learning Hub and course pages. This helps us improve course discovery and navigation. GHC does not add names, email addresses or course responses to its analytics events. Google processes usage information under its privacy policy.
GHC will review inactive accounts and associated learning records after two years of inactivity. The review will determine what remains necessary and what can be removed. Deletion is not automatic.
Avoid posting sensitive personal information in course responses or discussions. Information posted in discussions may be visible to other participants, depending on the course settings.
